Melbourne Headache + Concussion Group’s Director – Cliff Butler has a passion for understanding and making a difference in concussion recovery has led him to undertake further study into headache and concussion management.

Concussion has sparked much debate in recent years and along with other respected members in the field Cliff runs a podcast “The Knock on Effect”.

Where concussion meets conversation. We’re not here to cancel contact sport.  We’re here to make it safer, smarter, and sustainable – because concussion can be managed.

The podcast aims to:

  • Educate community sport leaders on concussion governance
  • Demystify the science for parents and coaches
  • Spark national conversation – and confidence – around concussion management
  • Build a backlog of evergreen content aligned with evolving guidelines
